Pickup at Barcelona Airport

How the pickup at Barcelona Airport is arranged is confirmed in the reply to your quote request.

Send the flight number and the scheduled landing time, and the terminal if you know it, so the quote matches your arrival.

Terminal 2 is the shorter start for the port: its estimate to the Adossat quay is a little shorter than the main one from Terminal 1, which takes the C-31 and then the B-10, the Ronda Litoral that follows Barcelona's coastline. Both terminals are in El Prat de Llobregat (Aena).

From the runway to the gangway

The Port of Barcelona lists seven international cruise passenger terminals, spread over the Adossat quay and the Barcelona quay: Terminals A, B, C, D (Palacruceros), E (Helix), the MSC terminal and the WTCB terminal at the World Trade Center. Cruise calls are being gathered on the Adossat quay. The port closed its North terminal at the World Trade Center on October 2, 2023 and moved those calls there, and it announced that the South terminal would close at the end of 2026. In the port's own words, the Adossat quay is much further from the city's residential areas.

That makes the airport run a drive along the coast rather than through the center. The board on this page measures it from Terminal 1 to the Terminal A building on the Adossat quay, with the other Adossat terminals further along the same quay. By the C-31 and the B-10 it comes to 20 km, about 25 min by road without traffic, in an OpenStreetMap routing estimate checked on September 30, 2026. The terminal letter for your sailing is the detail the quote needs most.

Drop-off in Port de Barcelona

The transfer ends at the terminal for your ship. The Port of Barcelona says private vehicles may come in to drop off or pick up passengers and luggage but may not park (Port de Barcelona), and its access map names Gate 2, on the Adossat quay, as the most suitable entrance for the cruise terminals (access map).

Send the ship's name, the sailing date and the terminal if your cruise documents give it. If you spend a night in the city before boarding, ask for two journeys: the airport to city transfer on arrival, then a second one from the hotel to the port on sailing day.

Back from Port de Barcelona to Barcelona Airport

The journey back to the airport has its own page. Ask for both directions in one request, or quote the return on its own.

Questions about Barcelona Airport to Port de Barcelona transfers

Which cruise terminal does my ship use?

Check your cruise documents. The Port of Barcelona lists seven passenger terminals: A, B, C, D (Palacruceros), E (Helix), MSC and WTCB, on the Adossat and Barcelona quays. Send the terminal with the ship's name and sailing date. The road estimate on this page runs to Terminal A; the other Adossat terminals are further along the same quay.

How much time should we leave between landing and the ship's boarding?

Start with the drive: from Terminal 1 to the Terminal A building on the Moll Adossat, the road estimate is about 20 km and about 25 min without traffic (estimate: OpenStreetMap road routing, no traffic, checked September 30, 2026), via the C-31 and the B-10. Terminal 2 is a little closer by road. Add the time to collect your bags, the check-in time your cruise line sets and a margin for traffic.

Which port gate do cars use to reach the cruise terminals?

Gate 2, on the Adossat dock. The Port de Barcelona access map names it as the most suitable access for the cruise passenger terminals. Send your terminal with the request, and the quote is for a drop-off at that terminal.

Our cruise also ends in Barcelona. Is the drive back to El Prat a separate page?

The cruise port to airport transfer covers disembarkation day. If you already know both dates, ask for the two journeys in one request.
