Chauffeur day trip from Barcelona
A car and driver for a day on the coast north of Barcelona: you choose the stretch, the stops and how long to stay, and the day ends back at your door. Each day trip is quoted on request.
The Costa Brava is a lot of coast for one day. The Generalitat de Catalunya's guide counts 206 kilometers of shoreline between Blanes and the French border, so a chauffeur day trip usually picks one part of it. In the south, la Selva has the resort beaches of Lloret de Mar and the walled Vila Vella above the bay of Tossa de Mar. In the middle, the Baix Empordà has the former fishing villages of Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu, the medieval hill town of Pals and the coves below Begur. In the far north, Cadaqués and Dalí's house at Portlligat sit on the Cap de Creus peninsula, the farthest point in our route data.
The plan is yours. Your driver collects you at your hotel or apartment in Barcelona and drives up the coast to the first stop; after that, the day follows your request, whether that means a walk on a coastal path, lunch by a harbor or an afternoon in one village. In the evening the drive brings you back to Barcelona. Tell us the towns you want to see and the hours you have, and we reply with a quote for that day.
If you would rather have a guide and a fixed route, the private tours below cover parts of the coast and are booked online.

The date, the pickup time and address in Barcelona, the number of guests, and how long you want at the Costa Brava.
We reply with a quote for that day, based on the route and the hours you describe.
Your driver collects you at the address in the request, such as your hotel or apartment.
The time on the ground follows the plan in your request: set your own pace, with no group to wait for.
The drive back ends at your address, or at another one if you ask for it in the request.

Measured from Plaça de Catalunya (estimate: OpenStreetMap road routing, no traffic, checked September 30, 2026), the road estimates run from about 70 km (Blanes, about 1 h) to about 172 km (Portlligat, about 2 h 15 min), and the drive back is the same again. A day in la Selva leaves more hours on the coast; a day at Cadaqués spends more of them on the road.
Put each stop in the request, for example Begur and its coves in the morning and Tamariu for lunch, with roughly how long you want in each. The quote covers the whole day as you describe it.
Pals and Peratallada, in the Baix Empordà. The Generalitat's Costa Brava guide names both among the fortified towns inland and describes Pals on the Pedró hill, with its walls, the Church of Sant Pere and the Torre de les Hores. Add them to the request with the time you want in each.
Yes, name both in the request. The same guide lists Calella's Port Bo, with its archways, alongside the Cap Roig botanical garden and sculpture park, and Calella is one of the former fishing villages of the Baix Empordà with Tamariu and Llafranc.
