The Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) lists 36 municipalities in its municipal register, Barcelona among them. They include El Prat de Llobregat, where both terminals of Barcelona Airport stand, and Sant Cugat del Vallès, on the northwestern slopes of the Serra de Collserola. Collserola Natural Park lists nine municipalities with part of their territory in that range.
