Sant Climent de Llobregat sits in the valley of three streams, Les Comes, El Querol and Salom, ringed by the Sant Ramon, Pedres Blanques, Costa Fustera, Coll de la Creu and El Padró hills (AMB). Its 10.81 square kilometers border Viladecans and Gavà to the south, Begues to the west, Torrelles de Llobregat to the north, Santa Coloma de Cervelló to the northeast and Sant Boi de Llobregat to the east, per Catalan Wikipedia. Two regional roads, the BV-2003 from Viladecans and the BV-2004 from Sant Boi through the Estret de Roques, meet in the middle of the village. The cherry is its signature fruit: Catalan Wikipedia says growers took it up after phylloxera, in plots still called vinyes, and that the trees flower around the start of April. During the Civil War the village's official name was El Cirerer del Llobregat, the cherry tree of the Llobregat.
The parish church of Sant Climent, first built in the tenth century and last reworked in the eighteenth, keeps the only complete Romanesque bell tower left in the county. Above the village, the hermitage of Sant Ramon stands on the mountain where Sant Climent, Sant Boi and Viladecans meet, says the tourism board.
