Chauffeur Service in Santa Coloma de Cervelló

Gaudí's crypt at the Colònia Güell, one of the UNESCO Works of Antoni Gaudí, draws visitors to Santa Coloma de Cervelló. A driver takes you out from the city or the airport, and the visit can be quoted as part of a longer day.

Baix Llobregat

Home of the Colònia Güell

Santa Coloma de Cervelló lies on the right bank of the Llobregat, at the foot of Montpedrós mountain, also called Sant Antoni after its hermitage, and reaches west to the eastern spurs of the Garraf massif (AMB). Idescat counts 8,275 residents in 2025 on 7.49 square kilometers. Catalan Wikipedia lists the parts of the municipality: the old core with Can Lluch and Pla de les Vinyes, the Colònia Güell, the estates of Can Via, Cesalpina, Sant Roc and La Pineda, and Can Colomer.

The Colònia Güell began in 1890, when Eusebi Güell set up a textile colony on the Can Soler de la Torre estate, with workers' houses next to a factory that made velvets and corduroys. In 1898 he asked Antoni Gaudí to design its church. Only the lower nave was ever built, blessed in 1915 and known since as the crypt; UNESCO includes it among the Works of Antoni Gaudí. The factory closed in the textile crisis of 1973.

The colony's visitor site gives the road access: the B-2002 between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Santa Coloma de Cervelló, reached from exit 53 of the C-32 or from the A-2, AP-7 and C-31 toward Sant Boi. FGC trains also stop at Colònia Güell station. For a car, say whether the pickup is in the old town, the colony or one of the estates.

Questions about a chauffeur in Santa Coloma de Cervelló

Can I book a driver to visit the Gaudí crypt at the Colònia Güell?

Yes, as a return trip or with a chauffeur by the hour. Buy the crypt tickets on the colony's official site, then send the pickup address and your entry time. The visitor site gives road access from the B-2002 between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Santa Coloma de Cervelló.

Is Santa Coloma de Cervelló the same as Santa Coloma de Gramenet?

No. Santa Coloma de Cervelló is in the Baix Llobregat, on the right bank of the Llobregat, and holds the Colònia Güell. Santa Coloma de Gramenet is a different municipality in the Barcelonès county, with its own page: Chauffeur Service in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Check the full name before you send a request.

Can I see the Colònia Güell on a cruise day in Barcelona?

Ask for it as a cruise port transfer with a stop, or by the hour. Give the ship name, the docking time and the all-aboard time. The colony's site puts the full visit at one and a half to two hours, so leave room for it.

What should I include in a quote request from Santa Coloma de Cervelló?

The street and the area (old town, Colònia Güell, Can Via, Cesalpina, Sant Roc or La Pineda), the date and time, the destination, and the number of guests and bags. For a flight, add the flight number and terminal. Send it by WhatsApp or with the request form.

Do the private tours visit the Colònia Güell?

No. The private tours stop at places such as the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, with hotel pickup in Barcelona. For the crypt, ask for a separate trip.
