The city
Ten districts, 73 neighborhoods
Barcelona lies between the Llobregat river to the south and the Besòs to the north, with the sea on one side and the Collserola range on the other. The City Council divides it into 10 districts and 73 neighborhoods, and the directory on this page lists all 73 under their districts. Nou Barris has the most, 13, and Les Corts the fewest, three, one of them Pedralbes.
The arrival points are spread out. Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, with terminals T1 and T2, stands outside the city in El Prat de Llobregat. The port's seven international passenger terminals are on the Adossat and Barcelona quays, and Barcelona Sants station is on Plaça dels Països Catalans, in the Sants-Montjuïc district. Estimates for journeys that start in the city are measured from Plaça de Catalunya, in the Eixample, without traffic.
To ask for a chauffeur, send the route, the date and time, the number of guests and bags and any stops, by WhatsApp or with the quote form. We reply with a quote for that journey. This site does not publish transfer or chauffeur prices; the private tours are the exception, each priced per group and booked online.

Planning a journey in Barcelona
Getting around the city
The estimates on this site leave out traffic, so allow a margin on top of them. Two parts of the center also have their own traffic rules. In the Eixample, Consell de Cent and the green axes that cross it give priority to people on foot. A car can still reach a home, a shop or a parking garage on them, but in most cases a car that turns into one of these streets has to leave it again at the next cross street. In the Gothic Quarter, the Ciutat Vella district restricts car access at set hours every day, with exceptions for residents, parking garages and authorized vehicles. For an address in either area, add the nearest cross street or the name of the hotel.
Locals sometimes give directions toward the sea or the mountains, or toward the Besòs or the Llobregat, rather than north and south, the City Council's guide for newcomers notes. If a hotel describes its entrance that way, pass that on with the address.
Airport, port and station pickups
For an arrival by air, send the flight number, the terminal, T1 or T2, the landing time and the address you are going to. For a cruise, send the ship's name, the date and the time you expect to leave the ship. The Port de Barcelona lets private vehicles drive to the cruise terminals to drop off and collect passengers and luggage, but not to park there. For a train into Barcelona Sants, send the train number and its arrival time. When you are leaving the city, give the pickup address and the time of your flight, sailing or train.
Several stops in one day
When a day has more than one address, list them in order, with the time you need to be at each and the place where the day ends. Two kinds of booking fit a day like that: the hourly chauffeur service books a vehicle and driver for a set number of hours, and a private driver is quoted on the route you give. For a working day of meetings, see business chauffeur.
Day trips out of the city
For a guided day on a set itinerary, the private tours show a price per group and are booked online. Four of them spend time at Montserrat, an estimated 60 km and about 1 hour by road from Plaça de Catalunya without traffic. For a day on your own plan, send the stops and the time you want to be back in Barcelona. The Costa Brava and Andorra hubs list the routes north, and the long-distance hub the drives south and west.

Questions about chauffeurs in Barcelona
What should I send to get a quote?
The pickup address, the destination, the date and time, how many guests and bags, and any stops on the way. For a pickup at the airport, the port or Sants, add the flight number, the ship's name or the train number. Send it by WhatsApp or with the quote form, and we reply with a quote for that journey.
Which neighborhoods are in the directory?
All 73 of the City Council's neighborhoods, under their 10 districts. The list uses the official Catalan names, so the Gothic Quarter appears as El Barri Gòtic, in Ciutat Vella, and the area around the basilica as La Sagrada Família, in the Eixample. Towns outside the city, such as L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Badalona, are on the Greater Barcelona hub.
How long is the drive from the airport to the city center?
From Terminal 1 to Plaça de Catalunya, the estimate is about 17 km and about 20 minutes by road without traffic, from OpenStreetMap routing checked September 30, 2026. Traffic and the exact addresses change the real time. The airport transfer hub lists the routes from both terminals.
How much does a chauffeur cost in Barcelona?
This site does not publish transfer or chauffeur prices, so each request is quoted on its own details: the route or the hours, the date and time, the number of guests and bags, and any stops. The private tours are the only journeys with a price on the site, per group, and they are booked online.
Should I book a driver by the hour or a private driver?
Book by the hour when the order of the day may change, since the vehicle and driver are booked for the hours you choose. Book a private driver when you know the route, and the quote follows the stops you give.
