Chauffeur Service in Vall d'Hebron
Despite the name, the Vall d'Hebron hospital is in Montbau; this barri has the Olympic tennis center, the Pavelló de la República and the Mistos sculpture. You can be driven to a match or a class at the courts, or out to the airport.
Horta-Guinardó district
La Vall d'Hebron, an Olympic barri with an older name
The name is older than any building here. Hermits on the slopes of Collserola were already calling the place the Vall d'Hebron, after the valley in Palestine, before Queen Violant de Bar founded the Hieronymite monastery of Sant Jeroni de la Vall d'Hebron there in 1393. Today's barri of the Horta-Guinardó district lies lower, on the sea side of the Ronda de Dalt and the Passeig de la Vall d'Hebron, and covers 73.6 hectares of former estates such as Can Travi Nou, Can Brasó and Martí-Codolar.
Homes arrived with the Parc de la Vall d'Hebron estate in 1968, and the 1992 Olympic Games extended it with a large sports sector and new housing. Four Olympic venues stood in the area. At the tennis center, nine of the 17 courts were used for the Olympic tournament. On Avinguda del Cardenal Vidal i Barraquer, a 1992 replica of the Spanish Republic's pavilion from the 1937 Paris Exposition holds a University of Barcelona library, and in front of it Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen's Mistos scatters sculpted matches around the corner of Carrer del Pare Mariana.
Despite the shared name, the Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron is in Montbau, north of the Ronda. From la Vall d'Hebron a driver covers the airport, a match or a class at the tennis center, dinner in an old masia or a long drive north. Your address, the destination, the times and the size of the party are what the quote needs.

Questions about a chauffeur in la Vall d'Hebron
Is Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron in la Vall d'Hebron?
No. The hospital campus is in Montbau, on the other side of the Ronda de Dalt, at Passeig de la Vall d'Hebron, 119-129. A trip there is quoted like any other: give the hospital building and the time. That barri has its own page, Chauffeur service in Montbau.
Can I be dropped at the tennis center for a match or a class?
Yes. Give the Centre Municipal de Tennis Vall d'Hebron as the destination, with the date and time. For a tournament week with several trips, an event chauffeur or a chauffeur by the hour can be quoted instead.
How do we visit the library in the Pavelló de la República?
The CRAI Biblioteca del Pavelló de la República lists visits among its services, so arrange yours with the library first. A driver can take you to Avinguda del Cardenal Vidal i Barraquer, 34-36, and on to another stop, such as the Parc del Laberint d'Horta in neighboring Horta.
Can a driver bring us back after dinner at Can Travi Nou?
Yes, on request. The restaurant occupies an old masia at Carrer de Jorge Manrique, 6-10. Send the time you expect to leave and the address you are going back to, and the return trip is quoted with the rest of the evening.
How much does a chauffeur from la Vall d'Hebron cost?
No prices or vehicle details appear on this site; every journey is priced from its own details. Send the pickup in la Vall d'Hebron, the destination, the date and time, and the guests and bags through Request a quote.
