Chauffeur Service in Horta

Horta lies on the northern side of Barcelona, the full width of the city from the airport and the port. A driver covers that crossing with your luggage, or heads the other way to Montserrat or the Pyrenees for the day.

Horta-Guinardó district

Horta, a former town below Collserola

Until 1904, Horta was a town of its own, Sant Joan d'Horta, and that year it became part of Barcelona. The name comes from the Horta family, who held the land from 1036 to 1260, and a written mention of the parish of Sant Joan d'Orta dates from 1095. Today it is a neighborhood of the Horta-Guinardó district that reaches from Plaça d'Eivissa up the slopes of the Collserola range, with 29,505 residents on 3.08 square kilometers in 2023.

Water shaped old Horta. Wells were plentiful, and from the early 17th century into the 20th, families on Carrer d'Aiguafreda washed clothes for better-off Barcelona households in troughs at their own homes. Higher up, the Desvalls family started the Laberint garden in 1794, and the Velòdrom, opened for the 1984 world track cycling championships, held the track cycling events of the 1992 Olympics.

Horta lies on the northern side of the city, across Barcelona from the airport and the port. A driver can take you to the terminals with your bags, bring you home from a train at Barcelona Sants, or head out for the day to Montserrat or the Pyrenees. Tell us your street in Horta, when to come, and how many travelers and cases, and we price that trip on its own.

Questions about a chauffeur in Horta

Can a driver take us to the Parc del Laberint d'Horta?

Yes. The park's addresses include Passeig dels Castanyers and Carrer dels Germans Desvalls, so give one of them as the drop-off. Catalan Wikipedia notes that the park admits at most 750 people at the same time, so check its current visiting rules before you choose a time.

Can I be dropped off on Carrer d'Aiguafreda?

OpenStreetMap maps Carrer d'Aiguafreda as a pedestrian street, so a drop-off by car would be on a street next to it. Mention the street when you ask, and say whether anyone in the group needs to be set down as close as possible.

Can I go skiing from Horta with a driver?

Yes, a ski transfer starts at your door like any other trip. Barcelona to La Molina and Barcelona to Andorra describe two routes, and Ski Transfers lists the rest. Say how many skis or boards you are bringing as well as suitcases.

Can I get a car from Horta to a train at Barcelona Sants?

Yes. Station trips are explained on Barcelona Sants Station Transfer. Give your Horta street, the train time and the number of bags, and the transfer is quoted in either direction.

How is a trip from Horta priced?

Each trip gets its own quote, built from the pickup street in Horta, the destination, the date and time, and the number of guests and bags. Prices are not listed on this site, and the quote reflects the trip you describe.
