The airport
One terminal, close to the Costa Daurada
Reus Airport, code REU, lies east of Reus, the capital of the Baix Camp county, and a short drive from the beach towns of the Costa Daurada. Aena, which runs it, traces its story to 1935, when the newly founded Reus flying club decided to build a landing strip and bought land for it. Domestic flights followed in 1957 and charter flights became common in the 1960s; low-cost airlines arrived in 2003, and the next year the airport passed one million passengers for the first time. Works in 2008 brought arrivals, check-in and departures together in a single terminal building, and Aena counted 1,336,826 passengers in 2025. Even before that growth, Aena notes, the airport had a large base of charter passengers, mostly in the summer season.

One terminal to name
Aena's works in 2008 brought arrivals, check-in and departures into one building, a new boarding area opened in 2010 and the terminal extension works were finished in 2021. With a single terminal, the flight number and the scheduled landing time are what a request needs from the airport side.
