What the transfer covers

Cambrils, in the Baix Camp county, has kept a working harbor. Its tourism office calls it the only fishing port in the Baix Camp, and the auction hall of the Confraria de Pescadors, the fishermen's guild, is still the center of the port: the trawlers come in every day and their catch goes straight into the auction. The Catalan Tourism Agency has recognized the port district as a Barri Mariner, a fishing quarter. Facing the harbor stands the Torre del Port, a round watchtower built in the 17th century and now part of the Cambrils History Museum. Along the shore, beaches of fine golden sand run for more than 9 km, with a promenade beside them.

Out of Barcelona, the road estimate takes the C-31 and then the C-32, the motorway that runs through the Garraf county, before joining the AP-7 for the long stretch south. Near the end it switches to the A-7 and comes into Cambrils on the N-340. The trip suits a week by the sea, a family stay or a long seafood lunch near the boats, and a private transfer takes you from your own door in Barcelona to the street where you are staying, with no change of transport on the way.

Start of the journey

Pickup in Barcelona

Collection is at the address you give in Barcelona: a hotel, an apartment, a home or an office. If your trip begins off a ship or a train, the cruise port and Barcelona-Sants station pages cover pickups there.

Flying in instead? Cambrils lies much closer to Reus Airport than to Barcelona: the Reus Airport to Cambrils transfer is a 16 km drive, about 20 min by road without traffic. Other flights into Reus are listed on the Reus Airport transfer page.

End of the journey

Arrival in Cambrils

Drop-off is at the address you send in Cambrils: a hotel, an apartment, a family house or a restaurant on the harbor front. The tourism office lists nine beaches, from Cap de Sant Pere, on the border with Salou, to La Llosa, close to the town center, so give the street and number rather than the name of the beach.

If your plans include Parc Samà, the 19th-century garden between Cambrils and Montbrió del Camp, its address is on the Carretera de Vinyols; give it in your request like any other stop.

Why book a private chauffeur

  1. To the right end of the beach

Cambrils has nine beaches along more than 9 km of coast, and Cap de Sant Pere sits on the border with Salou. The drop-off is the street you send, wherever along that shore it is.

  2. Down for lunch at the harbor

If you are going for a seafood meal near the boats and coming back to Barcelona the same day, put both legs and the times in one request.

  3. A week of luggage

List the suitcases, beach bags and anything bulky, such as a stroller, with the number of guests, so the quote covers your whole party and what it brings.

  4. In time for the boats

The trawlers come in every day and the tourism office runs guided visits to the fish auction. If you have booked one, give the time you need to be at the harbor.

Questions about the Barcelona to Cambrils transfer

Is Cambrils the farthest of the Costa Daurada towns from Barcelona?

Of the nine towns in our Costa Daurada route data, yes: Cambrils is about 112 km from Plaça de Catalunya, about 1 h 30 min by road (estimate: OpenStreetMap road routing, no traffic, checked September 30, 2026). Near the end the estimate leaves the AP-7 for the A-7 at exit 1148 and comes into town on the N-340. Tarragona and Salou, closer on the same coast, have their own routes.

Is Reus Airport closer to Cambrils than Barcelona Airport?

Yes, by a long way. By road, Cambrils is 16 km from Reus Airport, about 20 min without traffic, on the OpenStreetMap estimate checked September 30, 2026. If your flight lands there, use the Reus Airport to Cambrils transfer; the Reus Airport transfer page lists the other routes from that airport.

Which beach in Cambrils is closest to the town center?

The tourism office describes La Llosa as very close to the town center and La Riera as close to the seafront promenade, while Vilafortuny and Cap de Sant Pere lie away from the center, Cap de Sant Pere on the border with Salou. Give the street address of your hotel or apartment and the drop-off is there.

Can we see the fish auction at the harbor?

The tourism office runs guided visits to the auction hall of the fishermen's guild, where the catch of the trawlers that come in each day is sold. Cambrils has the only fishing port in the Baix Camp (Cambrils Turisme). Book the visit with them, then give its time in your request so the drive from Barcelona arrives before it.
