The venues
Where Barcelona's large events take place
Fira de Barcelona lists three venues. Fira Gran Via, at Avinguda Joan Carles I, 64 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, has eight halls joined by a walkway, and the GSMA names it as the venue of MWC Barcelona, a congress it holds in the city every year. Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, on Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina, was built for the 1929 International Exhibition and has seven halls. The third is the CCIB, at Plaça de Willy Brandt.
On Montjuïc, Palau Sant Jordi hosts concerts in the Anella Olímpica. FC Barcelona plays at Spotify Camp Nou in Les Corts, and motor racing takes place outside the city, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló. On the waterfront are two marinas: Marina Port Vell, with 73 superyacht berths and five event spaces, and Port Olímpic.

What to send with a request
Name the event, the venue and, if the organizers have told you, the hall or entrance to use. Add the times you need to arrive and leave, the hotel address and the number of guests. For a fair over several days, send the whole schedule in one request.
Trade fairs
Fira de Barcelona says its fairgrounds have taxi ranks. At Gran Via the eight halls are joined by a walkway, so ask the organizers which entrance is closest to your hall.
Concerts on Montjuïc
Car access to Palau Sant Jordi changes from one event to the next. The venue's pages describe nights when a private vehicle can only go up the mountain with a prior reservation, because events at the Sant Jordi Club and the Estadi Olímpic coincide, and nights when the police traffic plan keeps taxis and private transport services from driving up at all. Read the notice for your date before you settle the drop-off and the pickup after the show.
Race weekends in Montmeló
The Circuit's mobility plan for the 2026 MotoGP weekend said that no private vehicle could enter the circuit perimeter without a parking ticket bought in advance, and that drivers should follow the police and the road signs rather than GPS. It placed taxi ranks by Gate 1 at the West entrance and Gate 3 near the East entrance, and said that after the racing the roads would only carry traffic away from the circuit. The Circuit publishes a plan for each large event, so read the current one before you plan the day.
Questions about event chauffeurs in Barcelona
Is Fira Gran Via the same venue as Fira Barcelona Montjuïc?
No. Fira de Barcelona runs both, but they are separate fairgrounds: Gran Via is at Avinguda Joan Carles I, 64 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Montjuïc is on Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina in Barcelona. Check which one your event uses before you ask for a quote. The Fira Gran Via page has more on that venue.
When is MWC Barcelona held?
The GSMA holds MWC Barcelona every year, at Fira Gran Via. For the next edition its site gives March 1 to 4, 2027. The dates move from year to year, so check the organizers' site before you plan the journeys.
Can a car drop me at Palau Sant Jordi on a concert night?
It depends on the night. Palau Sant Jordi's own pages describe events where a private vehicle needs a prior reservation to go up Montjuïc, and others where taxis and private transport services cannot drive up at all. Check the access notice for your concert, and tell us what it says when you ask for a quote.
Is the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Barcelona?
No. It is in Montmeló, in the Vallès Oriental county, outside the Barcelona metropolitan area. The Circuit gives the C-17 (Montmeló exit) and the AP-7 (exits 13, 14 and 15) as its road approaches.
