About the Montjuïc grounds
On Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina stand the exhibition grounds that Fira de Barcelona runs, built in 1929 for the International Exhibition. Seven halls stand inside Montjuïc Park, an area Fira describes as known for its museums and theaters, and the site also holds the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona, a conference center whose large auditorium seats more than 1,600 people. Fira's two other venues are Gran Via, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and the CCIB at Plaça de Willy Brandt. Gran Via lies about 2.5 km away in a straight line on the map.
Fira's calendar places trade and public shows here such as Barcelona Wine Week, Automobile Barcelona, B-Travel, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week and the Saló de l'Ensenyament, the education fair. In the week of MWC Barcelona, the Talent Arena event has been held at Montjuïc while the congress itself fills Gran Via, so one visit can call for both grounds.
A driver handles the journeys either side of the halls: a pickup from the airport or from Barcelona Sants station, the drop at the halls in the morning and the ride back in the evening, and dinners or meetings in the city. What is the address of the Montjuïc venue?
Av. Reina Maria Cristina, s/n, 08004 Barcelona, according to Fira de Barcelona. Put the hall or the entrance in your request if the organizer has given you one.
Is Fira Barcelona Montjuïc the same place as Fira Gran Via?
No. Fira de Barcelona runs both: Montjuïc is on Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina in Barcelona, and Gran Via is on Avinguda Joan Carles I in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. MWC Barcelona is held at Gran Via; see Fira Gran Via for that venue.
Can one booking cover the whole fair?
Yes. Send the dates, the hotel address and the times you need to arrive and leave each day, and the journeys are quoted together. For days with meetings between sessions, a chauffeur by the hour may suit better.
