When the whole party travels together
Group transportation is for a party that has to move together: relatives flying in for a family celebration, friends on a long weekend, wedding guests going from the hotel to the venue, a sports team with its kit, or delegates on their way to a congress. Rather than each guest finding a taxi, the group books private vehicles and drivers for the journeys it shares.
Most group journeys in Barcelona start or end at one of its arrival points. Aena lists two passenger terminals at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, T1 and T2. The Port de Barcelona lists seven international cruise terminals on the Adossat and Barcelona quays. Fira de Barcelona says it holds more than 300 fairs, congresses and other events a year at its four venues: Gran Via, Montjuïc, the CCIB and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
What shapes the quote is the group itself: how many guests, how many suitcases and how much hand luggage, any oversized items such as golf bags, skis or bicycles, and every pickup point. How many guests are traveling, how many suitcases and pieces of hand luggage they bring, and any oversized items.
List the journeys
Each pickup address, flight or ship, each destination, and the date and time of every journey. If the group lands on different flights, list them all.
Receive a quote
We reply with a quote for the vehicles the group needs and the journeys you listed. Nothing is booked until you accept it.
Travel
The group is collected at the agreed addresses and times and driven to each destination you booked.
Questions about group transportation
How do I get a quote for group transportation in Barcelona?
Send the number of guests, the number of suitcases and pieces of hand luggage, any oversized items, each pickup address or flight, and the destinations, dates and times, by WhatsApp or with the quote form. We reply with a quote for the vehicles the group needs.
How many people can travel in one vehicle?
It depends on the vehicle and on how much luggage the group brings, so this page gives no single number. Tell us how many guests and bags there are, and the quote names the vehicles needed for that group.
What if our group arrives on different flights?
List every flight with its number and arrival time, and how many guests and bags are on each. Aena lists two terminals at Barcelona Airport, T1 and T2, so add the terminal for each flight if you know it. The quote is then prepared for those arrivals.
Can we bring golf bags, skis or bicycles?
Say so in your request and count them separately from the suitcases, because oversized items change how much space the group needs. The quote takes them into account.
Can one booking cover several journeys, such as hotel to venue and back?
Yes. List every journey with its date, time and addresses, for example the airport arrival, the runs between the hotel and a congress venue, and the departure, and they are quoted together. For a day with no fixed plan, an hourly chauffeur may suit the group better.
How is group transportation different from a private tour?
Our private tours follow a set itinerary with your own vehicle and guide, are priced per group and are booked online. Group transportation has no set itinerary: you send the journeys, and they are quoted on request.
