Your own driver in Barcelona
Private Driver in Barcelona
A private vehicle and driver for one journey or a whole day, on the route you set: a few stops in the city, a day out of Barcelona, or the airport at the start or the end. Every booking is quoted on request.
Who it is for
A driver for the route you choose
A private driver booking is planned around a route, not a clock. You tell us where to collect you, the places you want to reach in the order you want them, and where the day should end, and we quote for that route. It can be one drive across the city, a morning with a few stops, or a full day that leaves Barcelona and returns in the evening.
The airport can be part of the route. After landing at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, the drive can go to a first appointment in Pedralbes or Sant Cugat del Vallès before the hotel, and a day out can end at the terminal before an evening flight. Outside the city, the route can take in Montserrat, a town on the Costa Brava or Andorra.
Two other options suit different days. Hourly Chauffeur Barcelona books a driver for a set number of hours, for days when the stops are not known yet. Our private tours follow a set itinerary with a guide, are priced per group and are booked online.

Questions about a private driver
How does a private driver booking work?
You book one vehicle and driver for your party, for a journey or a day on the route you set. Send the pickup address, the stops in order, where the day ends, the date and start time, and the number of guests and bags by WhatsApp or with the quote form. We reply with a quote for that route.
How is a private driver different from an hourly chauffeur?
A private driver booking is quoted on the route you send: the addresses, the stops and where the day ends. An hourly chauffeur is booked for a number of hours, which suits a day when the stops are not fixed yet. If you are not sure which one fits, describe the day in your message and ask.
How much does a private driver cost in Barcelona?
Driver and transfer prices are not published on this site. Each request is quoted on its details: the route, the date and start time, how long the day runs, and the number of guests and bags. You receive the quote before anything is booked. The only prices shown online are those of the private tours, set per group.
Can the route start or end at Barcelona Airport?
Yes. Put the flight number and the landing time in your request, then the stops after the airport. A day can also end at the terminal: give the flight time and the last stop before it. For a single ride between the airport and one address, see Barcelona Airport Transfer.
Can a private driver take us out of Barcelona for the day?
Name the places in your request, such as Montserrat or a town on the Costa Brava, and the time you want to be back, and the quote covers that day. As a guide to the driving, Montserrat is about 60 km from Plaça de Catalunya, about 1 h by road without traffic, and Tossa de Mar about 86 km, about 1 h 15 min (OpenStreetMap routing).
What do we need for a day trip to Andorra?
Your travel documents. According to Visit Andorra, Andorra is not part of the European Union or the Schengen area. EU citizens can enter with a passport or a national ID card, other visitors need a valid passport, and travelers who need a Schengen visa need one valid for two or more entries, because the drive back enters Spain again. Andorra la Vella is about 192 km from Plaça de Catalunya, about 2 h 45 min by road without traffic; see Barcelona to Andorra Transfer.
