Chauffeur Service for Port Olímpic
Cars reach Port Olímpic by the Moll de Mestral, while the Balcó Gastronòmic restaurants line the Moll de Gregal. For dinner, a regatta or a day afloat, a driver brings you in from the airport or your hotel and takes you home again.
The Olympic harbor and its new direction
Port Olímpic was built in 1991 to designs by Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay and Albert Puigdomènech, and the next summer it hosted the sailing events of the 1992 Olympic Games. It faces La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou in the Sant Martí district, between the Barceloneta and Nova Icària beaches, and the harbor office is in the Edifici de Capitania on the Moll de Xaloc. Barcelona de Serveis Municipals (BSM) runs it on behalf of the city.
The port is being remade. Its own site describes a new direction after 30 years: more than 20,000 m² of public space returned to the city, a square of over 8,000 m² on the Moll de Mestral, a business center for the blue economy, a renovated municipal sailing center, and the Balcó Gastronòmic, a group of restaurants and food shops on the Moll de Gregal. The marina itself has 674 berths for boats from 7 to 30 meters long.
People come for a regatta or a day afloat, a meeting with a marine business, or dinner by the water. A driver covers the trip in from the airport or a hotel and the ride back at the end of the evening. Name the quay, the boat or the restaurant in your request.
