Chauffeur Service in Vila de Gràcia

Some of La Vila de Gràcia's streets are pedestrian, and during the Festa Major in August whole streets fill with decorations. Name the nearest street a car can reach, and the trip to the airport, a ship or Sants is quoted from that corner.

Gràcia district

La Vila de Gràcia, a former town built around its squares

La Vila de Gràcia was the core of the town of Gràcia, which governed itself from 1850 until 1897, when it was joined to Barcelona again together with Sant Andreu de Palomar, Sant Martí de Provençals, Sant Gervasi de Cassoles and Les Corts de Sarrià. The neighborhood gives its name to the Gràcia district, and in 2021 it had about 50,500 residents on 132.6 hectares. When the districts were redrawn in 1984, the old town's land beyond Via Augusta went to Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and the Eixample.

Life here turns on the squares. Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia keeps the clock tower that Antoni Rovira i Trias designed in the 1860s, and Plaça del Sol, Plaça de la Virreina and Plaça del Diamant belong to the same neighborhood. Casa Vicens, the house Gaudí built from 1883 to 1885 and his first major work, stands on Carrer de les Carolines. The iron-framed Mercat de la Llibertat opened in 1893, and each August the Festa Major covers whole streets in decorations the neighbors make themselves.

You can book a driver from Gràcia for the airport, a ship, a train at Sants or a day trip. If your door is on a pedestrian street, name the nearest street a car can reach, and add the date, the hour and who is coming with what luggage; the quote is prepared for that trip.

Questions about a chauffeur in la Vila de Gràcia

Will the Festa Major de Gràcia affect a pickup in August?

It can. The festival centers on August 15, residents decorate whole streets and squares, and it draws hundreds of thousands of visitors. If your trip falls in the second half of August, give the date and your address, and we will suggest a pickup street outside the decorated area when needed.

Can I visit Casa Vicens and Park Güell in one booking?

Casa Vicens is at Carrer de les Carolines, 20-26, and Park Güell is in La Salut, the next neighborhood uphill. A chauffeur by the hour can wait between the two visits if you send the times of your tickets. Two private tours, Barcelona Highlights and Park Güell, and Barcelona in One Day, include Park Güell and are booked online.

My apartment is on a pedestrian street. Where will the car stop?

Give the full address and the nearest street a car can reach, for example Gran de Gràcia or Travessera de Gràcia if one of them is close. The stop is agreed when you confirm the quote.

What should I send for an airport transfer from Gràcia?

The date, the flight number and its time, the terminal (T1 or T2 at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat) if you know it, and the number of guests and bags. Add the street a car can use if your door is in a pedestrian area.

How are prices worked out for a trip from Gràcia?

This site does not publish fares or describe vehicles. Each journey is priced on its own details: pickup, destination, date, time, guests and bags, sent through Request a quote. Mention prams or bulky luggage in the same message.
