Chauffeur Service in Putxet i el Farró

El Putxet is a hill with a park on top, and El Farró an area of low houses and passages below Ronda del General Mitre, so say which you are in. The quote for the airport, Sants or Sant Cugat over Collserola starts there.

Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district

El Putxet i el Farró, a hill and its lower streets

This neighborhood lies on the side of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district that faces Gràcia, inside a ring of streets: Passeig de Sant Gervasi, Avinguda de la República Argentina, Plaça de Lesseps, Avinguda de la Riera de Cassoles, Via Augusta and Carrer de Balmes at Plaça de Molina. Its 62 hectares had 29,986 residents in 2021. The double name joins two places. El Putxet is the small hill to the north, and El Farró, to the south, recalls Silvestre Farró, who built the first houses there early in the 19th century.

From about 1870, Barcelona families built summer towers on the Putxet. The Sarrià railway, the metro and the trams made it a place to live all year, and apartment blocks have replaced some of the towers. The hilltop became a public park in 1970, the Jardins del Turó del Putxet, with a viewpoint, a geodesic observatory and a weather station on the summit. The Farró, south of Ronda del General Mitre around Carrer de Saragossa and Carrer de Vallirana, is an area of low houses with inner patios and passages of terraced houses such as Sant Felip and Mulet.

A quote for a car from here rests on four things: the exact address on the hill or in the Farró, the time of departure, the party and its luggage. The airport, Barcelona Sants, Sant Cugat del Vallès over Collserola and the ski resorts are all priced from those details.

Questions about a chauffeur in el Putxet i el Farró

Can a car take us up to the Turó del Putxet gardens?

The gardens cover the top of the Putxet hill, and their listed address is Carrer de Manacor, 19-21. Give that address, or the street where you would like to get out, with the time. If you want the driver to stay while you walk up to the viewpoint, ask for a chauffeur by the hour instead of a single drop.

How do I get from El Putxet to Sant Cugat del Vallès?

Sant Cugat del Vallès is on the other side of the Collserola hills, in the Vallès Occidental. One road link through the range is the Vallvidrera tunnels, completed in 1991. A one-way drop or a return is quoted from your address; the town is described on Sant Cugat del Vallès chauffeur service.

We are flying out early. What goes in the request?

The pickup street and number, the flight number and its departure time, the terminal if you know it (T1 or T2 at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat), and the number of guests and bags. Those details are enough for a price for the airport run.

Can you drive us to the Pyrenees for a ski weekend?

Resorts in the Catalan Pyrenees and in Andorra are quoted as long-distance journeys from your door. Say how many skis, boards and boot bags travel with you along with the suitcases, so the price matches the load. The resorts are listed on Barcelona ski transfers.

How much does a driver from El Putxet i el Farró cost?

This site has no price list and no vehicle list. Send the pickup, the destination, the date and time and the number of guests and bags through Request a quote, and the reply gives a price for that journey.
