Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district
Sant Gervasi-la Bonanova, a town center and a promenade
This neighborhood joins two places. Sant Gervasi was the center of the town of Sant Gervasi de Cassoles, which became part of Barcelona in 1897; its church of Sant Gervasi i Sant Protasi is documented as early as 987. La Bonanova took shape after 1890, when the Passeig de la Bonanova opened as the road between Sant Gervasi and Sarrià and well-off families built houses and villas along it.
The name, the good news in Catalan, comes from the Mare de Déu de la Bonanova, whose altar was set up in the 18th century in the old parish church; the Bonanova church on the same site was rebuilt after the Spanish Civil War. The neighborhood now belongs to the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district and covers 223.5 hectares, with 25,984 residents in 2021. Inside it are CosmoCaixa, the science museum of the la Caixa foundation, Gaudí's Torre Bellesguard and the white Casa Roviralta on Avinguda del Tibidabo.
Trips from Sant Gervasi-la Bonanova include the airport and Barcelona Sants, a family visit to CosmoCaixa, a Gaudí stop at Bellesguard or a drive up toward Tibidabo. List the pickup street and the hour, say who is coming and with how many bags, and that journey is what we quote.

Can I visit Gaudí's Torre Bellesguard with a driver?
