Chauffeur Service in Can Baró
Can Baró climbs the southern slope of the Turó de la Rovira, and on a hill the house number decides where a car can pull up. Include it, and you are taken down to the airport, Barcelona Sants or the cruise port.
Horta-Guinardó district
A farmhouse, old quarries and a hilltop battery
Can Baró runs along the southern slope of the Turó de la Rovira, as far down as Avinguda de la Mare de Déu de Montserrat. Carrer de Francesc Alegre separates it from El Guinardó to the east, Plaça de la Font Castellana from El Baix Guinardó to the south, and Plaça Sanllehy from La Salut, in the Gràcia district, to the west. Its 0.38 square kilometers had 9,320 residents in 2021.
The barri takes its name from the Can Baró farmhouse, where the date 1674 is carved over the door. Building on the farm's land began in 1918, when a journalists' cooperative put up about sixty houses, still known as the Barri dels Periodistes. Quarries cut into the hill for lime and building stone; the Can Baró quarry worked until 1967, and in 1991 the Pont de Mühlberg was built to rejoin a street the digging had broken. Shacks lined Carrer de Francesc Alegre until the last of them came down in 1990. On the summit, the anti-aircraft battery built in 1938 is now an open-air site of the Barcelona History Museum.
Because Can Baró sits on a slope, the house number decides where a car can pull up, so put it in your request along with the day, the hour and who is traveling. The routes below lead to the airport, Barcelona Sants, the cruise port and towns beyond the city.

Masia de Can Baró
The farmhouse that named the barri, at Plaça Can Baró, 1-3. The date 1674 on the stone lintel of its door is thought to mark the reform of an older building. It served as a hospital during the Spanish Civil War, later became a Jesuit college, and now houses the ACIS Artur Martorell school.

Questions about a chauffeur in Can Baró
Can a driver take us up to the bunkers on the Turó de la Rovira?
The bunkers are the remains of the anti-aircraft battery built on the summit in 1938, now an open-air site of the Barcelona History Museum (MUHBA). Add the summit as a stop on your journey and say how long you plan to stay. Where a car can set you down near the top is agreed with the quote.
Our street is on the hill. Where will the car stop?
Can Baró climbs the southern side of the Turó de la Rovira, and quarrying once cut through some of its streets (the Pont de Mühlberg went up in 1991 to rejoin one of them). Give the house number and, if the last stretch is steps, the nearest street a car can use. The pickup point is settled when you confirm the quote.
Can we see Park Güell and the Rovira hilltop in one outing?
Park Güell lies to the west, in the Gràcia district, and the Turó de la Rovira rises above Can Baró. A chauffeur by the hour keeps a vehicle and driver for a set number of hours, so list both stops with your ticket times. Two of the private tours, Barcelona in One Day and Barcelona Highlights and Park Güell, include a skip-the-line Park Güell ticket and are booked online.
What goes into an airport request from Can Baró?
The date, the flight number or departure time, the terminal at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat if you know it (T1 or T2), your address and how many people and suitcases are coming. If your door is up a stepped street, add the closest street with car access.
How is a trip from Can Baró priced?
Fares are not published on this site, and no vehicle is described. Each journey is priced from its own details: the pickup in Can Baró, the destination, the date and time, the travelers and the luggage, sent through Request a quote. Ski gear, a pram or other bulky items belong in the same message.
