Chauffeur Service in El Raval

El Raval mixes the 60-meter-wide Rambla del Raval with narrow streets such as Carrer del Carme, so the hotel name or exact address matters. Your car can collect you after a night at the Liceu, or take you to a flight or a ship.

Ciutat Vella district

El Raval, the quarter inside the 14th-century wall

El Raval is one of the four neighborhoods of Ciutat Vella and the most densely populated of them, with 48,688 residents on 110 hectares in 2021. Its boundary follows La Rambla, Carrer de Pelai and Plaça de la Universitat, then the Ronda de Sant Antoni, the Ronda de Sant Pau and Avinguda del Paral·lel down to the port and Plaça del Portal de la Pau.

It took shape in the 14th century. After the Black Death had cut the city's population by a third, King Pere III had a new wall built on the far side of La Rambla, then a stream bed, to enclose orchards that could feed Barcelona in a siege and hospitals kept away from the crowded old core. The Benedictine monastery of Sant Pau del Camp was already there in the early 10th century, and the Hospital de la Santa Creu, begun in 1401, now holds the Biblioteca de Catalunya. Church land seized in the 19th century made room for the Boqueria market and the Liceu, and the CCCB and the MACBA opened a few steps apart in 1994 and 1995.

Streets here range from the 60-meter-wide Rambla del Raval to the old routes of Carrer del Carme and Carrer de l'Hospital, so a pickup starts with the exact address or the hotel's name. A chauffeur from El Raval can take you to the airport, a cruise ship, a train at Barcelona Sants or out of the city, with each trip quoted from the details you send.

Barcelona Airport and el Raval

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat is the airport's name as Aena gives it, with two terminals, T1 and T2. El Raval has no airport route page of its own: ask through Barcelona Airport Transfer or the buttons on this page, and the transfer is quoted for your address.

On arrival day, send the flight number, the landing time and the terminal. On departure day, send the hotel or street in El Raval and the time of your flight. Say how many guests and bags in either case.

Questions about a chauffeur in el Raval

Can you drop us at the Liceu for a performance?

Yes. The Liceu gives its address as La Rambla, 51-59. When we checked on 3 October 2026, its getting-there page noted traffic restrictions on La Rambla during the works to transform the street, so the drop-off point depends on the access rules that evening. Send the date and start time; evenings out are covered on Event Chauffeur Service Barcelona.

Can you take us from a hotel in El Raval to our cruise ship?

Yes. Send the ship's name, the sailing date, the time you want to leave and the number of guests and bags. The port's terminal page counts seven international terminals, split between the Adossat and Barcelona quays; if your cruise line names one, include it. See Barcelona Cruise Port Transfer, and for the return, Barcelona Cruise Port to Hotel Transfer.

Can I keep a driver for a day of museums and shopping?

Yes, with a chauffeur by the hour, booked for a set number of hours. The MACBA, at Plaça dels Àngels, 1, and the CCCB, at Carrer de Montalegre, 5, are a short walk apart, so they can share one stop. List the other places and the times in your request.

How do I arrange an airport transfer from El Raval?

Send the request through Barcelona Airport Transfer or the quote buttons here, with your hotel or street, the flight number and time, the terminal if you have it, and how many people and bags are going. The transfer is quoted in either direction.

How much does a chauffeur from El Raval cost?

Fares are not listed on this site. A journey is priced once you send the pickup street or hotel, the destination, the date and time, and the number of guests and bags, through Request a quote.
