Baix Llobregat

A compact town on the left bank of the Llobregat

Cornellà de Llobregat lies on the left bank of the Llobregat river, in the Baix Llobregat county. The AMB traces its boundary on every side: Sant Boi de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat to the south, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat to the east, Sant Joan Despí to the west and Esplugues de Llobregat to the north. Idescat counts 92,255 residents on just 6.99 square kilometers, about 13,200 people per square kilometer.

The railway divides the town's seven districts. Centre, Riera, Almeda and Fontsanta-Fatjó are to the south of it; Pedró, Gavarra and Sant Ildefons are to the north. For rail, Cornellà has three metro L5 stations, the FGC stops at Cornellà-Riera and Almeda, a Rodalies station on the R1 and R4, and Trambaix stops such as Les Aigües and Cornellà Centre. The C-32 and the A-2 run along its edges.

Among its sights are the stadium of RCD Espanyol, opened in August 2009 on the boundary with El Prat de Llobregat, and the Agbar Water Museum in the Central Cornellà on the Sant Boi road. The Palau Mercader, a nineteenth-century building in Can Mercader Park, holds the town's museum. When you ask for a quote, give the district with the street, or the name of the venue.

Questions about a chauffeur in Cornellà de Llobregat

Can I book a driver for an Espanyol match at the RCDE Stadium?

Yes, as a one-way ride or as an event booking that also covers the way home. Give the match date, the pickup address and the time you want to leave. The quote covers that plan; no parking or access arrangement at the stadium is implied.

Is the RCDE Stadium in Cornellà de Llobregat or in El Prat de Llobregat?

It stands on the outskirts of both towns, on the border between them. When you ask for a quote, name the stadium and the event, and the driver plans the address from there.

Which district should I name in my request?

Cornellà de Llobregat has seven: Centre, Riera, Almeda and Fontsanta-Fatjó south of the railway, and Pedró, Gavarra and Sant Ildefons north of it. Put the district with the street and number, or the name of an office or venue.

Can a driver take us to the Agbar Water Museum and the Palau Mercader in one trip?

Yes, book a chauffeur by the hour and list both stops: the water museum at Ctra. de Sant Boi, 4-6, and the Palau Mercader in Can Mercader Park. Check the opening times with each museum before you set the schedule.

How do I ask for an airport transfer from Cornellà de Llobregat?

Send the flight number, the date, the terminal (T1 or T2) and your address, with the number of guests and bags. The Barcelona Airport transfer page covers both directions. There is no separate Cornellà de Llobregat route page, so the quote is made from your details.
