Montserrat, Girona and Costa Brava Private Tour

Mountains, a medieval city and the sea all fit into one private day of about eleven hours, door to door. A private guide and a driver meet your group at its Barcelona hotel or apartment with a vehicle reserved for you alone, and the first leg climbs into the Montserrat massif and its rock formations. High on the mountain, your guide leads the visit to the Benedictine monastery and its basilica, home of La Moreneta, a wooden statue of the Virgin from the 12th century. Girona follows, explored on foot: the cobbled lanes of the old town and the Jewish Quarter, the Arab Baths and the cathedral, and the old walls and corners that appeared in Game of Thrones, in a city whose Roman founding dates to 77 BC. From there the road turns to the Costa Brava for clifftop viewpoints and a few stops by the water, with time for photographs and a rest before the same guide and driver return you to your hotel or apartment.
