Pickup at Barcelona Airport
How the pickup at Barcelona Airport is arranged is confirmed in the reply to your quote request.
Send the flight number and the scheduled landing time, and the terminal if you know it, so the quote matches your arrival.
Flights land at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat (BCN), which Aena operates with two terminals, T1 and T2, in the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat (Aena). T2 is made up of three buildings: Aena gives 2 minutes on foot from T2 A to T2 B and 5 minutes from T2 B to T2 C (Aena). The road estimate on this page is measured from T1, with a variant from T2.

From El Prat to the Cerdanya
La Molina is a ski area in the municipality of Alp, in the Cerdanya, and it is where Spain's first ski lift opened in 1943, with the country's first ski school following a year later. Its 71 km of runs rise from 1,667 meters to the summit of La Tosa at 2,537 meters, and the Alp 2500 gondola carries skiers from La Molina up to the Dues Estacions area on La Tosa, linking its slopes with Masella's in one domain.
From Terminal 1 the estimate takes the B-20 to reach the C-16, the Eix del Llobregat, follows it north into the Cerdanya, and finishes on the C-162 and the GIV-4082, the last 8 km of the climb. The day and hour you land deserve a thought. According to the Generalitat de Catalunya, the C-16 stretch from Berga to Bagà, mostly one lane in each direction, carries its heaviest northbound flow on winter Friday afternoons, when a journey there can take three times as long. A flight that touches down then puts you on that stretch at its busiest.

Drop-off in la Molina
Give the address where you are staying: an apartment or hotel at La Molina, a house in Alp, or a hotel in a Cerdanya town such as Puigcerdà.
The route estimate ends at La Molina itself. If you are staying on the Masella side of the Alp 2500 domain, or anywhere else in the valley, the quote is for that address instead.

Back from la Molina to Barcelona Airport
There is no separate page for the drive back to the airport. Add the return to the same request, or ask for it on its own with your departure flight.

Questions about Barcelona Airport to la Molina transfers
How far is the ski drive from El Prat to La Molina?
From Terminal 1 at the airport, the road estimate to la Molina is about 161 km and about 2 h 10 min (estimate: OpenStreetMap road routing, no traffic, checked September 30, 2026). Terminal 2 is a few kilometers shorter by road. Winter traffic on the C-16 and any stop on the way add to it.
Does it matter which day I land?
In winter it can. The Generalitat de Catalunya says the heaviest traffic between Berga and Bagà on the C-16 goes north on Friday afternoons and south on Sunday afternoons. If your flights fall on those afternoons, allow for a slower drive in your plans.
Is Masella part of the same ski area as La Molina?
The two resorts form the Alp 2500 domain, 145 km in all, and the Alp 2500 gondola runs from La Molina up to the Dues Estacions area on La Tosa, linking the two resorts (Masella). Check with the resorts which lift pass covers both.
Which town is La Molina in?
The resort is in the municipality of Alp, in the Cerdanya, and it is where the first ski lift in Spain opened in 1943 (Wikipedia)). Hotels and apartments in Alp or elsewhere in the valley are quoted to the address you send.
