Pickup at Barcelona Airport

How the pickup at Barcelona Airport is arranged is confirmed in the reply to your quote request.

Send the flight number and the scheduled landing time, and the terminal if you know it, so the quote matches your arrival.

Barcelona's airport, officially Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, has two terminals, T1 and T2, both in El Prat de Llobregat (Aena). T2 is made of three buildings, T2 A, T2 B and T2 C; Aena gives 2 minutes on foot from T2 A to T2 B, and about 10 minutes on its free shuttle bus from T1 to T2 B and C (Aena). The road estimate starts at Terminal 1, and the Terminal 2 variant is shown with it.

Down the coast from El Prat to València

València, where the Turia meets the Mediterranean, is the capital of the Valencian Community and, after Madrid and Barcelona, the third-largest city in Spain. The Romans founded it in 138 BC. Its medieval gates, the Torres de Serranos and the Torres de Quart, still stand, the Turia Garden runs for about 8.5 km through the old riverbed, and the Port of Valencia ranks among the busiest container ports in Europe.

From Terminal 1 the estimate is 339 km, about 3 h 50 min by road without traffic; Terminal 2 adds about 4 km. Leaving the airport, the route stays south of Barcelona and follows the Garraf coast on the C-31 and C-32, past Sitges, to reach the AP-7. That motorway carries it about 250 km south, past Tarragona, L'Ametlla de Mar, Benicarló, Orpesa and Sagunt, before a short stretch of the A-7 and the V-21 bring it into València from the north. One break on the way splits the drive into two halves of under two hours each.

Drop-off in València

The transfer ends at the València address you send: a hotel near the cathedral, an apartment by the Turia Garden, a home or an office. The quote is worked out for that address.

Sailing or traveling on? Give the terminal at the Port of Valencia or Joaquín Sorolla station as the drop-off, with your departure time.

Questions about Barcelona Airport to València transfers

How many hours south of El Prat is València by motorway?

By road, València is about 339 km from Terminal 1 at Barcelona Airport, about 3 h 50 min without traffic (estimate: OpenStreetMap road routing, no traffic, checked September 30, 2026), most of it on the AP-7. Terminal 1 is the shorter start by a few kilometers. Traffic leaving the Barcelona area and the exact address change the real time.

Where can we break the journey?

Add the stop to your request with the time you want. The routed line passes about 1 km from Sagunt, whose hilltop castle keeps walls of Roman and Moorish origin above a partly restored Roman theater (Wikipedia). It also passes about 3 km from Tarragona; if Tarragona is your destination, see Barcelona Airport to Tarragona.

Would flying into Valencia-Manises Airport be shorter?

If your airline flies there, yes: Wikipedia lists Valencia-Manises Airport as the city's international airport. This page is for travelers whose flight lands at Barcelona, from where the road estimate is about 339 km.

We sail from the Port of Valencia. Can the drive end at the ship?

Send the terminal name and the sailing time with your flight details, and the quote is for a drop-off at the port. Allow for the drive, about 3 h 50 min without traffic, plus the check-in time your cruise or ferry line sets.
