What the transfer covers
Barcelona Sants is the city's main railway station, a little west of the center on Plaça dels Països Catalans, and high-speed trains from Madrid and from France pull in at its underground platforms. The airport at the far end of this transfer has carried the name Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat since 1 March 2019. Aena gives it two passenger terminals in El Prat de Llobregat: Terminal 1, opened in June 2009 on a site between the runways, and Terminal 2, made up of the T2 A, T2 B and T2 C buildings.
The road estimate beside this text leaves the station by Carrer de Numància and Carrer de Tarragona, joins the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and keeps to the C-31 out to Terminal 1; the Terminal 2 variant is a little shorter. Arrival at Barcelona Airport
Drop-off is at the terminal your flight leaves from, T1 or T2. Your booking shows it: put it in the request with the flight number and departure time.
The two terminals are separate buildings. Aena's free shuttle between them takes about 10 minutes from T1 to T2 B and C and about 14 minutes from T2 back to T1, so naming the right terminal saves that ride.
