What the transfer covers
Tamariu is the northernmost of the seaside villages of Palafrugell, and the municipality's own tourist office calls it the smallest and wildest of them. It lies among rocks and pines around one bay: a main beach about 160 meters long, the little Els Lliris beach to the south and the rocky Aigua dolça cove to the north. The Costa Brava tourism board explains the name: tamarisk trees, tamariu in Catalan, grow around the beach beside the pines. It was once a cluster of fishermen's houses around the cove, and the Catalan Wikipedia notes that it turned to tourism from the 1980s while keeping the narrow streets of those first houses.
On the way, the estimate keeps to the AP-7 as far as the C-35, swaps that for the C-65, and only leaves the main roads for the last kilometers down to the bay. Parking is the thing to know about: the tourism board says the beach area has blue-zone and paid car parks, but spaces are few and parking can be difficult in the summer months. Being dropped at the door of your hotel or rental, with your bags, avoids that.

Your arrival time
Ask for a pickup time that gets you to Tamariu for the check-in at your rental or a dinner booking by the water.
Return from Tamariu to Barcelona
There is no separate page for the Tamariu to Barcelona transfer. Ask for the return in the same request, with its date and time, and we quote both directions.
