Barcelona Airport Chauffeur Service

A chauffeur booking that starts or ends at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat and covers more than one drive: the hotel, then a meeting, a stop on the way, an onward trip out of the city, or a day in town that finishes at the terminal. Every booking is quoted on request.

Who it is for

When the airport is only the first stop

Most journeys from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat are simple transfers: one terminal, one address. This page is for the other kind, where the driver stays part of the plan after you land. You might leave your bags at the hotel and go straight to a meeting, collect a colleague on the way into town, or keep the car through the afternoon before an evening flight out of the same airport.

Aena counted 57.5 million passengers at Barcelona in 2025, three quarters of them on international flights, on 379 routes to 212 destinations in 62 countries. The airport has two terminals, T1 and T2, with free transport between them, and it lies in El Prat de Llobregat, in the Baix Llobregat county southwest of the city. OpenStreetMap road routing puts Plaça de Catalunya 17 km, about 20 min by road without traffic, from Terminal 1.

For a quote, send the flight number and terminal, every stop after landing with the time you need to be there, and where the booking should finish. If all you need is one drive to one address, the Barcelona Airport transfer page is the simpler choice.

    Land and go to work

Off the plane, a short stop at the hotel, then the first appointment of the day. Trips made only for work are also covered on the business transfer page.

    Stops on the way in

Collect a colleague, drop a case at an apartment or call at an office before the hotel, all in the same booking.

  • A black van on a curving motorway through vineyards and low hills toward a distant mountain range

    Onward from the terminal

Straight out of the city after landing, to Sitges, Girona or Andorra, with a break on the way if you ask for one.

  • A driver handing a rolling suitcase to a traveler at the departures curb of a glass terminal beside a black van

A day that ends at departures

Check out in the morning, keep the driver for meetings or sightseeing, and finish at T1 or T2 in time for the flight home.

Journeys that start at the airport

Each card is a route page with its own road estimate, measured from Terminal 1 without traffic. A chauffeur booking can join two of them, for example a meeting in Sant Cugat del Vallès and a hotel in the city.

Journey times are road estimates: OpenStreetMap road routing (OSRM), no traffic, checked September 30, 2026. Traffic and the exact addresses change the real time. Route data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), routed with OSRM.

Questions about an airport chauffeur

How is an airport chauffeur different from an airport transfer?

A transfer is one drive between the terminal and one address. An airport chauffeur booking starts or ends at the airport but includes more: stops on the way, a meeting after landing, an onward trip, or a day in the city before your flight. For a single drive, see Barcelona Airport transfer.

Can I keep the driver for a few hours after I land?

Yes. Give the flight, the terminal and the stops you plan, or ask for a set number of hours. A chauffeur by the hour works the same way, starting at the airport.

Which terminal should I put in my request?

The one on your ticket. Aena lists two terminals at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, T1 and T2, with free transport between them. Add the flight number so the pickup is planned for the right terminal.

How long is the drive from the airport to central Barcelona?

OpenStreetMap road routing estimates 17 km, about 20 minutes without traffic, from Terminal 1 to Plaça de Catalunya, and about 14 km and a similar time from Terminal 2 (checked September 30, 2026). The address and the traffic change the real time.

Can I book an airport chauffeur for a guest?

Yes. The person booking does not have to travel. Send the guest's name, the flight number, a contact number for the day and each stop after landing.

Can the booking finish at the airport instead of starting there?

Yes. Send the first pickup address, the stops in the day and the flight time, and the booking ends at T1 or T2. Leave time for check-in when you choose the last stop.
