Private Barcelona City Tour from Cruise Port

A chauffeur-driven route through Barcelona that starts at your cruise terminal and ends back there at the time you set. You choose the stops and their order; the route is quoted on request.

Who it is for

How a port day can be spent

A port day in Barcelona has two fixed times, the hour you can leave the ship and the hour you must be back on board, and this service fits a city route between them. A driver collects your party at the cruise terminal, takes you to the places you picked, in the order you picked, and brings you back to the same terminal at the time you set.

Ships berth at seven international terminals, according to the Port de Barcelona, split between the Adossat quay and the Barcelona quay. The port lists a shuttle bus from the Adossat terminals to the city center, and it allows private vehicles into the terminal area to drop off and collect passengers and luggage, though not to park. From the Adossat terminals to Plaça de Catalunya, in central Barcelona, the road estimate is 6 km, about 15 min by road without traffic.

The route can take in the Sagrada Família, Passeig de Gràcia and Montjuïc, the hill that overlooks the harbor. Barcelona City Council restricts car access to the Gòtic for much of the day, so the old town is a stop where you get out and walk in. On a long call, the road estimate from Plaça de Catalunya to Montserrat is 60 km, about 1 h by road without traffic. Guests who want a guide with a fixed plan can pick one of our private tours instead, which start with a pickup at a hotel or apartment in Barcelona.

Journeys around a cruise

Every card links to a route page. The figures are one-way road estimates without traffic, and the Montserrat and Sitges cards start from Plaça de Catalunya.

Journey times are road estimates: OpenStreetMap road routing (OSRM), no traffic, checked September 30, 2026. Traffic and the exact addresses change the real time. Route data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), routed with OSRM.

How a port day is planned

  1. Send the ship's times

The ship's name, the date in port, the terminal if you know it, and the times you can go ashore and must be back on board.

  2. Choose the stops

The places you want to see, roughly how long at each, and how many guests are coming.

  3. Receive a quote

The price for that route and those times comes back to you, and nothing is booked until you accept it.

  4. Ride and return

Your driver collects the party at the terminal at the agreed time, and the route finishes back there.

Questions about a city route from the cruise port

How much time do we need for a city route from the ship?

Work back from the hour you must be on board. Keep a margin for traffic and for the walk through the terminal, and the time left is the time for the route. Put both times in your request and the quote is built around them.

How do I find out which terminal my ship uses?

The cruise line's documents name it, and the Port de Barcelona publishes the cruise ships calling each day on its website. If you are not sure, give the ship's name and the date in the request.

Can we drive through the Gothic Quarter?

Not for much of the day. Barcelona City Council restricts car access to the Gòtic, except for residents, vehicles going to car parks and authorized vehicles, so the route stops nearby and you walk in. Say how long you want to spend there.

Is a guide included?

No. This is a driver and a route you choose. If you would like a guide and a set itinerary, our private tours include one, are priced per group and are booked online; they begin with a pickup at a hotel or apartment in Barcelona.

Can the route end at the airport instead of the ship?

Yes, on the day your cruise ends. Put the flight time in the request. From the Adossat terminals to Terminal 1, OpenStreetMap routing gives 20 km, about 25 min by road without traffic.

How is the price worked out?

On the details of your day: the stops, the hours between leaving and rejoining the ship, and the number of guests. Prices are not published on this site, and the quote comes before any booking.
